The Pierce Region was discovered by 4 explorers; May, Wispworth, Poppy, and Skylar. They eventually settled the region, and formed 4 guilds, each appointing themselves as the guildmasters to ensure peace throughout the new region.

May was a Togetic at the time that she founded the Hunters' Guild. As time progressed, she evolved into a Togekiss; however, this joyous occasion was followed by a month of sorrow as May disappeared into the uncharted wilderness by herself. May had been a great companion to all of the original 4 explorers; she had been Poppy's best friend. Her guildmaster position was replaced by Lincoln, a local popular Porygon-Z that always seemed to know what he was doing.
Overall, Lincoln's Guild teaches its teams to utilize strategy and endurance. It is located at Pierce's northernmost areas. Hunters also make the most of their surroundings.

Wispworth's real name remains unknown, as he refuses to give it out; it is said that nobody but the original 4 explorers know his real name. He has been a Gengar for as long as anybody could remember, and has been both the jolliest and oldest of the original 4 explorers to date. He's very accepting to newcomers to his Rogues' Guild, Wispworth's Guild.
Wispworth's Guild encourages its members to use powers of manipulation and speediness to win. It is located near the northernmost tip of the Reveste Mountain Range.

Poppy had been a Kingler for a fairly long time, and founded the Warriors' Guild, or Poppy's Guild. She had been May's best friend, and had always been quiet. However, after May's disappearance, Poppy became much more reserved than before, always preferring to keep to herself.
Poppy's Guild values strength and endurance, cherishing the power to withstand even the toughest of circumstances. It is located near the southwestern areas of Pierce.

Skylar had been a Gallade for a fairly long time, and he was one of the original 4 explorers, becoming the guildmaster of the Preservers' Guild, or Skylar's Guild. He's balanced between a jovial atmosphere and a casual one, but he can shift attitudes to a more serious tone if need be.
Skylar's Guild values righteousness and regenerative skills. It is located near the center of Pierce.
